Dave Eyster

David A. Eyster, CPA, CMA – Received a Bachelor of Business Administration from Kent State University in 1985.  David worked nine years for a large local public accounting firm prior to joining Yurchyk & Davis in 1994.  He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Institute of Management Accountants. David is currently the Chairperson of the Board of MASCO and Finance Chair of Gateways to Better Living. He’s also served as the President of the Greater Youngstown Area Chapter of the Institute of Management Accountants, and of the Mahoning Valley Chapter of the Ohio Society of CPA’s.

His experience spans many facets of the industry, including audits, accounting, taxes, and management advisory services, as well as working with manufacturing, wholesale, financial service, and contractor clients. With 30 years of experience in Employee Benefit Plan auditing, including multi-employer plans, he is the firm’s designated audit partner for its membership in the AICPA Employee Benefit Plan Audit Quality Center. David also brings more than 32 years of auditing experience for nonprofit organizations. He meets all required qualifications to audit nonprofits as established by Government Auditing Standards, and is the firm’s designated audit partner for its membership in the AICPA Governmental Audit Quality Center.

David is married, has two children, and resides in Austintown.

Leo Raub

Leo C. Raub, CPA – Leo received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Youngstown State University in 1981. Prior to joining Yurchyk & Davis CPA’s, Inc., in January 1998, Leo was associated with a large public accounting firm for sixteen years. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants. He has serves on the boards of various civic organizations.

Leo has a particularly strong background in partnership, S-Corporation, individual taxation, business valuation, estate planning and management advisory services.

He also brings many years of experience in the performance of financial statement audits and reviews in a wide range of industries, including the Oil & Gas industry.

Leo has two daughters and resides in Austintown.

Sharon Carbon

Sharon M. Carbon, CPA – Sharon graduated from Youngstown State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 1998. Prior to her employment with Yurchyk & Davis, Sharon provided software support and accounting services for a private corporation until she joined the firm in January 1999. Sharon focuses on accounting, auditing, and tax services primarily for the construction, manufacturing, and nonprofit sectors.

She is the firm’s Sage 50 Software supervisor, and performs general ledger consulting, and software support and installation.

Sharon is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accounts, and has served on the board of trustees for two nonprofit agencies: Friends of Fellows Riverside Gardens and Boardman United Methodist Preschool and Child Care. She currently is the treasurer for the Boardman Tennis and Swim Club. She also enjoys volunteering with area nonprofit agencies.

Sharon is married, has three children, and resides in Boardman.

STAFF MEMBERS

Arjean Spaite

Arjean L. Spaite, CPA – Manager – Arjean graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Youngstown State University in 1997. Upon graduation, Arjean worked more than two years with a regional accounting firm before joining Yurchyk & Davis in October 1999. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants. Arjean brings 18 years of auditing experience for nonprofit and governmental organizations, and manages the firm’s nonprofit audits, as well as other for-profit audits, reviews, and compilations. She also has experience in taxes, particularly 990 returns for nonprofits, as well as individual and corporate tax returns. She meets all required qualifications to audit nonprofit associations as established by Government Auditing Standards, and has attended national conferences on nonprofit accounting and auditing.

Arjean has served as a financial volunteer and panel committee member of the Youngstown/Mahoning Valley United Way. She is a past president of the Boardman-Poland Junior Woman’s League and the Stadium Drive Elementary School PTA, and has volunteered time with many local charities.

Arjean is married, has three children, and resides in Boardman.

 

Lisa Defuria

Lisa L. Napolitan, CPA – Manager – In June 1988, Lisa graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Youngstown State University, where she majored in Accounting and minored in Economics. Upon graduation, Lisa worked for a large, international, public accounting firm for six years, and then worked for a local accounting and tax firm before joining Yurchyk & Davis in 2011. Lisa prepares and reviews corporate, partnership, nonprofit, individual, and payroll tax returns. She provides accounting services and assists in various audits and financial statement preparation. Lisa is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Ohio Society of Public Accountants.

For many years, Lisa served on the Board of Austintown Local Schools PTA/PTSA and the Austintown Band Parents Club. She is active in her church, Basilica of Our Lady of Mount Carmel.

Lisa has three daughters and resides in Canfield.

Angie Mackall

Angie S. Mackall – Supervisor – In 1996, Angie graduated from Youngstown State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Prior to her employment with Yurchyk & Davis in 1999, Angie was an accountant with a local accounting firm. Angie assists in financial statement preparation and payroll tax return review, as well as individual, partnership, and corporate tax return preparation and review. Angie is an Advanced QuickBooks Certified Pro-Advisor, and performs general ledger consulting, software support, and computer software installation.

She is a member of the Boardman chapter of The Networking Team. She is also a trustee for the Columbiana Community Foundation and a past trustee of the Crestview Athletic Boosters and the Crestview Little Rebels.

Angie is married, has two children, and resides in New Waterford.

 

Kristina Ross

Kristina N. Ross – Manager – Kristina graduated from Kent State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. While completing her degree, Kristina began her employment with Yurchyk & Davis in January 2008. She is a member of the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans, the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, AICPA, and Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants. She is also a member of the Junior League of Youngstown. Kristina manages multi-employer pension, profit sharing, and health & welfare audits. She meets the qualifications to audit nonprofit organizations as established by Government Auditing Standards. By meeting these requirements, she is able to assist in fieldwork and financial statement preparation for nonprofit audits. She also prepares individual, employee benefit plan, and corporate tax returns.

Kristina is married, has two children, and resides in Boardman.

Jennifer Kurish

Jennifer S. Kurish – Senior Accountant – In 1980, Jennifer graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Youngstown State University, where she majored in Accounting. She had 20 years of public accounting and five years of corporate accounting experience before joining Yurchyk & Davis in October 2012.

Jennifer is married, has two children, and resides in Austintown.

John Marco

John L. Maro – Staff Accountant – John graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Youngstown State University in 2008. Upon graduation, John worked for four years with a local accounting firm before joining Yurchyk & Davis in December 2012. John meets all of the qualifications to audit nonprofit organizations as established by Government Auditing Standards, and assists in fieldwork and financial statement preparation for nonprofit audits. He also assists in fieldwork for multi-employer pension, profit sharing, and health & welfare plan audits and financial statement preparation. He also prepares individual, nonprofit, employee benefit plan, and corporate tax returns. He is a member of Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants.

John is married, has two daughters, and resides in Poland.

Kyle Cirillo

Kyle Cirillo – Staff Accountant – Kyle graduated from Kent State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Majoring in Accounting. While completing his degree, Kyle began working with Yurchyk & Davis in November 2018. He assists in fieldwork for multi-employer pension, profit-sharing, and health & welfare plan audits as well as financial statement preparation. He also prepares individual, non-profit, employee benefit plan, and corporate tax returns. He is a member of The Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants.

He resides in Champion.

Lynn Giordano

Lynn R. Giordano – Paraprofessional – Lynn provides accounting services for clients in the health care profession and various other industries. She performs payroll tax preparation, financial statement compilation, year-end corporate, partnerships, and individual tax return preparation. Before joining Yurchyk & Davis in 1990, Lynn worked at a medical laboratory for thirteen years as the office manager and A/P, A/R bookkeeping coordinator. She is a member of the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Lynn is married, has two children, and resides in Canfield.

Rhonda Mowery

Rhonda M. Mowery – Paraprofessional – A graduate of Liberty High School in 1987, Rhonda worked in the banking industry prior to her employment with Yurchyk & Davis in 1995. In addition to preparing payroll tax returns and monthly and year-end financial statements, she performs various bookkeeping services.

Rhonda is married, has three children, and resides in Liberty.

Amy Hughes

Amy Hughes – Audit Assistant – Amy graduated from Youngstown State University with a Bachelor Degree in Applied Science in 1999 and has over fifteen years experience as an administrative assistant. Prior to joining Yurchyk & Davis in January 2008, she worked for several local law firms. She keeps our operation running smoothly and efficiently, staying “one step ahead” of knowing what is needed to serve our clients and audit team best. She is a member of the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Amy has served on Austintown Relay For Life Committee for seven years, three of which as the Event Co-Chair.

She resides in Niles.

 
Jamie L. Scragg – Office Coordinator – When you call or visit our office, you will receive a warm and friendly greeting from Jamie. Prior to joining Yurchyk & Davis in August 2016, she worked at a local company for four years as a bank teller, responsible for customer service and helping to keep the operation run smoothly.

Jamie is married, has two children, and resides in Leetonia.
