William J. Yurchyk, CPA – Bill received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Youngstown State University in 1977.  Upon graduation, Bill worked locally with a national accounting firm. In 1981, he formed his own practice in Youngstown, Ohio. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants.  He also serves on the boards of various local civic organizations.

Bill heads the accounting and auditing department while also providing accounting and management services to a wide range of clientele, with an emphasis on medical practices, contractors, and nonprofit.

Bill also has extensive experience relating to assisting clients with business acquisitions, and the preparation of forecasted financial statements and cash flow projections.

Bill is married, has two children, and resides in Canfield, Ohio.

David A. Eyster, CPA, CMA - Received a Bachelor of Business Administration from Kent State University in 1985.  Dave worked nine years for a large local public accounting firm prior to joining Yurchyk & Davis in 1994.  He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Institute of Management Accountants.

Dave serves on two local non-profit boards; Gateways to Better Living (where he currently is the Treasurer and Finance Chairman) and MASCO.

Dave has served as the President of the Greater Youngstown Area Chapter of the Institute of Management Accountants and President of the Mahoning Valley Chapter of the Ohio Society of CPA's.  David is the past Financial Chair of the fund distribution committee of the Youngstown/Mahoning Valley United Way.  He also served on the Youngstown State University Office of University Outreach Accounting Advisory committee.

David's experience includes twelve years of Taft/Hartley auditing and twenty years of employee benefit plan auditing.  David also is the firm’s representative for the AICPA audit quality center and attends the national conference on employee benefit plan audits in Washington DC on an annual basis.

David's audit, accounting, tax, and management advisory services experience also includes manufacturing, wholesale, financial service, and contractor clients.

David is married, has two children, and resides in Austintown, Ohio.

Leo C. Raub, CPA - Leo received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Youngstown State University in 1981.  Prior to joining Yurchyk & Davis CPA’s, Inc., in January of 1998, Leo was associated with a large local public accounting firm for sixteen years.  He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Youngstown Area Association of Credit Management.  He also serves on the boards of various civic organizations.

Leo has a particularly strong background in partnership, S-Corporation, individual taxation, business valuation, estate planning and management advisory services.

Leo has two children and resides in Niles, Ohio.

David A. Buttar, CPA – David graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Youngstown State University in 1993.  Upon graduation, David worked for three years with a local accounting firm.  He also worked for a year as the Business Manager for a local group of radio stations.  David is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants.  He is also a board member of the Austintown Rotary and chairman of the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church pastoral council in Niles, Ohio.

David prepares and reviews financial statements and tax returns for a wide variety of business clients.  He also prepares and reviews tax returns for individuals.  In addition, he audits a number of employee benefit plans.

David is married, has two children, and resides in Niles, Ohio.

Michael J. Humphries, CPA, MT – Mike graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Youngstown State University in 1993.  Upon graduation Mike joined Yurchyk and Davis as a staff accountant.  Mike attended and graduated from the University of Akron with a master degree in taxation in 1998.  Also in 1998, Mike relocated to Cleveland, Ohio and joined the tax department of Deloitte & Touche, LLP (one of the four largest accounting firms in the world).  He worked there for three years.  Mike then went on to work as the tax manager and assistant treasurer at a publicly held company for two years before rejoining Yurchyk and Davis in September 2003.

Mike prepares and reviews financial statements and tax returns for a wide variety of business clients.  He also prepares and reviews tax returns for individuals.  Mike is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants, and a trustee of the Mahoning Valley Professional 20/30 Club.

Mike is married, has two children, and resides in North Lima, Ohio.

Sharon M. Carbon, CPA – Sharon graduated from Youngstown State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in accounting in 1998.  Prior to her employment with Yurchyk & Davis, Sharon provided software support and accounting services for a private corporation.  Sharon joined the firm in January of 1999.

Sharon is the Peachtree Accounting Software supervisor, performing general ledger consulting, software support and computer software installation.  She also assists in financial statement preparation and review, corporate, partnership and individual tax preparation.

Sharon is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Sharon is married, has two children, and resides in Boardman, Ohio.
